The name Hyliion is a portmanteau, combining Hybrid + Lithium + Ion. Our icon was initially designed to convey green, sustainable energy for over the road application, utilizing a road, leaf and fuel droplet imagery. We’ve evolved to focus on energy demand holistically but our roots remind us of why we started in the first place, to reduce greenhouse gases by developing ground breaking technology.
Our Journey
Hyliion set out with an ambitious vision: to revolutionize the transportation industry with cutting-edge electric and hybrid technology. As the journey unfolded, that vision expanded, evolving from tackling electrification challenges in commercial transportation to driving innovative energy solutions across a wide range of industries. Today, Hyliion is at the forefront of a larger energy revolution, powering progress far beyond the road.
